ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College women's volleyball team hosted Lawrence Tech University for their home opener on Saturday afternoon, ultimately falling in straight sets.
The Bulldogs came out strong in the opening frame, fueled by early kills from Megan Feldmann and Virginia Rowan. Despite their momentum, Adrian narrowly dropped the first set in a tight 25-23 battle.
Lawrence Tech carried their rhythm into the second, pulling away late to secure a 25-13 win. Adrian fought to stay alive in the third but couldn't regain control, as the visitors closed out the match.
Rowan and Lauren Boehmer powered the Bulldog offense with nine kills apiece, while Khloe Kiser directed the attack with 15 assists. Defensively, Megan Reckling tallied 11 assists.
