Adrian College Boathouse
Home to the Adrian College men's and women's rowing teams, the Adrian College BoathouseĀ - located at 6150 W. U.S. 223, just west of Round Lake highway - is nestled comfortably on the northern coast of Devils Lake, the largest recreational body of water in Lenawee County. Its surrounding area, the Manitou Beach-Devils Lake community, has been lauded by the Pure Michigan tourism campaign for its luxurious resorts and robust artistry.
The Boathouse features an event space with a capacity of 120 people. At 13,335 square feet, the sprawling, two-story Boathouse provides the perfect home back for both men's and women's rowing programs at Adrian College. In addition to offering secure housing for the rowing craft and access to Devils Lake, the new facility boasts meeting rooms, a lounge area, gendered locker rooms, offices for coaches, exercise machines, and equipment storage.
Several massive windows were built into the side of the Adrian College Boathouse that overlook Devils Lake, and for good reason: its million-dollar panoramic view. The College's crew teams train on rowing machines facing the lake, allowing them to practice while looking through these windows across 1,335 acres of lake water and out to a well-forested southern coast.
The Adrian College Boathouse is also available to be rented out to the public. For pricing and rentals, contact the Adrian College Conferences Department.
