Acrobatics and Tumbling Fall Short to Trine University in the Opening Meet at the 2025 NCATA Division III Tournament

BUFFALO, NY - The Adrian College Acrobatics and Tumbling team kicked off their competition in the 2025 NCATA Division III Acrobatics & Tumbling Tournament with a hard-fought meet against a strong Trine University squad, falling short 215.370-178.155. 

Adrian opened the day with the compulsory event, earning 27.025 points out of a possible 38.00. The momentum continued into the acro event, where the Bulldogs scored 22.975 points from a start value of 26.40.

In the pyramid event, Adrian scored 25.675 points on a 27.70 start value. The toss event followed, where the team secured 20.625 points with a start value of 26.10.

Adrian brought high energy into the tumbling event, posting a score of 38.375 from a 45.60 start value, their second-highest event total of the day. The meet concluded with the team event, where the Bulldogs left it all on the mat, scoring 43.480 points with a start value of 63.93.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Friday, April 11 where they will compete for fifth-place against the three highest scoring teams that fell short at 4:00 PM.
