GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Adrian College acrobatics and tumbling team took a trip to Grand Rapids, Michigan where they took care of business in the win over Calvin University 180.60-133.75.
The evening kicked off with the compulsory event, where Adrian showcased solid performance, earning 28.45 points against a start value of 38.00. Moving into the acro portion, the Bulldogs put up a respectable 22.00 points, with a start value of 26.35.
Adrian then transitioned into the Pyramid event, scoring 25.95 points, with a start value of 27.70. In the toss event, they earned 21.40 points, competing against a start value of 26.10. The tumbling event saw a strong effort from the Bulldogs, as they scored 36.80 points, just shy of the 45.10 start value.
Closing out the evening, Adrian impressed in the team event, scoring a total of 45.90 points, despite the starting value of 61.55.
Adrian would go on to win the meet against Calvin University 180.60-133.75.
The Bulldogs are back on the mat on Saturday, March 22 where they will take on Calvin University and Trine University at 2:00 PM for senior day
