Mequon, Wis. -- The Adrian College Acrobatics & Tumbling team dropped its dual meet to Concordia University Wisconsin on Friday afternoon, falling 212.435–112.850 at home in front of a crowd of 350.
Adrian opened the meet in the compulsory event, earning a total score of 20.250. The Bulldogs showed steady performances in the acro, pyramid, and toss heats, highlighted by a 6.600 in the toss heat. Concordia Wisconsin held the early advantage after the compulsory round.
In the acro event, Adrian posted a combined score of 21.450, led by its strongest performance in the seven-element heat, which earned a 7.550. The Bulldogs continued into the pyramid event with a total of 20.100, paced by a solid 7.800 in the synchronized heat.
The toss event saw Adrian score 21.400 overall, with its highest mark coming in the 450 salto heat at 7.350. Adrian carried that momentum into the tumbling event, where the team recorded its highest event total of the meet with a 29.650. The aerial pass (6.850) and open pass (7.350) stood out as key performances.
Adrian was unable to field a team event routine, closing the meet with a final score of 112.850. Concordia Wisconsin capitalized in the team event to secure the final margin.
The Bulldogs will be back in action March 11 for their home opener against East Texas Baptist and Calvin at 6:00 PM.
