ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College men's soccer team is set to host the Kalamazoo College Hornets on Saturday afternoon for round one of the MIAA Conference Playoff Tournament. The No. 4 seeded Bulldogs will kick-off against the No. 5 seeded Hornets at 3:00 PM EST on November 1 at Docking Stadium. The Bulldogs make their return to the MIAA Tournament for the second year in a row.
Adrian closed out their regular season and conference play Wednesday with a road loss at the hands of Calvin University. The Bulldogs finished with a 5-12-1 overall record and 3-3-1 conference record landing them in the No. 4 seed. These two teams are quiet even as Kalamazoo hosted the Bulldogs early in conference play this season with a 2-2 draw and finished 2-2-3 in their conference slate.
Leading the way for Adrian was senior forward,
Kyle Jennings who recorded five goals, including two game winners, and 22 shot attempts in 15 games played. Following Jennings, sophomore forward,
Kyle Peterson recorded two goals and one assist, including one game winning goal on 15 shot attempts in 18 games played in his 2025 season. Between the pipes, sophomore
Eli Sizemore has been a standout and a huge part of this Bulldog defense. Sizemore played and started in 17 games for the Bulldogs this season, recording 83 saves with a 2.12 goals against average, an 0.697 save percentage, and three shutouts.
