Box Score 1 ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College NCBA Division III baseball team hosted Oakland University for a two-game series on Saturday. The Bulldogs split the doubleheader, falling 2-0 in game one before bouncing back with an 11-2 victory in game two.
Game one was a pitcher's duel as Oakland plated one run in the third inning and another in the fifth, totaling six hits in the contest. Adrian was held scoreless despite recording five hits, including two from Nate Lindner. Adam Lashaway got the start for the Bulldogs, tossing six innings and allowing two runs on six hits while striking out four.
In game two, Adrian came out swinging scoring two in the first, one in the second, three in the third, and one in the fourth to take a 7-2 lead. The Bulldogs added four more in the sixth and held Oakland scoreless in the seventh to secure the win. Gage Hreben led the team with three hits, two RBIs, and two runs scored, while Connor Ruhstorfer contributed three RBIs on two hits. Dakota Clift earned the win on the mound, throwing five innings and allowing two runs on four hits with five strikeouts.
