Final Stats
ALLIANCE, Ohio -
The women's volleyball team dropped its final two matches on Saturday at the Mount Union Invitational and were 1-3 overall. The host Raiders were 25-13, 25-7, 25-6 winners in the first match of the day. Adrian managed nine kills for the three sets and hit -.097.
The team fared much better in the final match of the tournament but dropped a 3-2 decision to Oberlin. Adrian won the first set 25-19 before Oberlin won the next two sets, 25-22 and 25-19.
The Bulldogs forced a fifth set with a 25-19 win in the fourth set. Oberlin gained a quick lead and cruised to a 15-4 win in the deciding set.
Rebecca Tincknell led Adrian with 11 kills and also had a double-double with 10 digs. Sammi Brubaker had a career-high 10 kills and hit .179 for the match. Jamie Taylor led Adrian with 16 digs. Katie Macfarlan had 27 assists, six aces and 10 digs.
