ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's volleyball team closed out the 2025–26 season on Saturday evening, honoring its senior class prior to the match against Albion College. Despite a spirited effort, the Bulldogs fell in straight sets to the Britons.
In the opening frame, Albion jumped out to an early lead and maintained control to take the set 25–10. The Britons carried that momentum into the second, applying steady pressure, though the Bulldogs responded with strong play from
Megan Feldmann,
Virginia Rowan, and
Kayla Chan to keep the set competitive.
Adrian showed resilience in the third set, battling back and trading points with Albion in a much tighter contest. However, the Britons managed to pull away late, securing the set 25–16 and the match.
Kayla Chan led the Bulldogs' attack with five kills, while
Virginia Rowan followed closely with four.
Emma Leinberger paced the offense with 15 assists, and on the defensive side,
Rainie Atherton anchored the back row with nine digs, joined by
Amelia McCombs who added six.
The Bulldogs wrap up their season with a 2–19 overall record and a 1–7 mark in MIAA play.
