LAKE FOREST, Ill. - The Adrian College women's hockey team dropped their third contest of 2008 to the Foresters of Lake Forest College by a 3-1 margin on Saturday afternoon.

The Foresters got on the scoreboard first when Laura Wilson scored a power-play goal 9:02 into the game for the 1-0 advantage for the home team. With just over two minutes left before intermission, Jen Kelly connected with Keegan Castrillo for the freshman forward's eighth goal of the season to knot the game at 1-1.

The game remained tied until the third period when the Foresters netted the game-winner at the 10:44 mark (DeHoey). The home team then added another goal at 16:17 (Gotowka) to put the game out of reach and claim the 3-1 win.

The Bulldogs were unable to capitalize on any of their five power-play opportunities on the day while being out-shot 34-23.

Ashley Kavanagh suffered her third loss in goal of the season while making 31 saves.

The two teams will face-off again tomorrow afternoon with a scheduled game time of 2:00 p.m. (CT).
