Mike Prang joined the Adrian College Athletics Communications staff at the end of December 2019, after he graduated from Loras College. Prang began as the Assistant Sports Information Director and was later promoted to the Sports Information Director in March of 2021. The 2025-2026 academic year will be Prang's sixth with the Bulldogs.

Prang has covered all 50 teams at Adrian College throughout his time as a Bulldog. He served as primary contact for Adrian when they hosted the 2020 and 2022 NCAA DIII Central Wrestling Regionals and the Cliff Keene Women's Wrestling National Championship. He also covered the 2021 baseball team's run to the DIII College World Series and covered the ACHA Men's Division 1 hockey team during its national championship run in 2021. Other National Tournament appearances that Mike has covered are the 2020 Men's Basketball team's first ever trip to the NCAA Tournament and the Bass Fishing team's trip to the National Championship in New York. In December of 2021, he covered the Men's Rugby team during its run to the NCR DII National Championship, and in 2022-23 he covered the Cornhole team's appearance to the College National Championship on ESPN.

Other Adrian College championship teams Prang has worked with include the 2023 and 2024 Men's Wrestling MIAA Champions, the 2023 Women's Golf MIAA Champions, the 2023 Baseball Regional Runner-Up, and the 2024 Baseball Super Regional Appearance.

During his time at Adrian, Prang has been the Sports Information contact for four men's and women's hockey Division III Frozen Four appearances. He worked with the 2022 Men's NCAA National Championship team and the 2023 National Runner-Up, and 2024 Semifinalist. Also in 2024, he worked with the NCAA Women's Hockey NCAA Division III Semifinalist.

Prang is also a member of the Adrian College Athletic Hall of Fame Committee.

Prang received a bachelor's degree in sport management with a minor in media studies. During his time at Loras, Mike served as a student assistant in the Athletic Communications department, where he assisted in covering 24 varsity sports. During the spring of 2019, he served as primary contact for the baseball team where he handled game day operations for all home and away games. Mike was best known on campus as the broadcaster for all men's and women's home basketball and baseball games.

During Prang's time at Loras College, he also served as a member of the baseball team for two years where he was a left-handed pitcher. During his senior year, Prang served as the Social Media Coordinator for the Sport Business Club.
