Eric Enright begins his tenure as Head Coach of Adrian College Women's Rugby beginning in the 2025-2026 season after being hired in June 2025.
A dynamic and seasoned leader with a proven track record in team building and program elevation, Enright brings a wealth of experience, strategic insight, and championship-level coaching to Bulldog Athletics. Most recently serving as the 7s Lead Assistant Coach for Emory & Henry University Women's Rugby, he was instrumental in implementing contemporary playing strategies that helped propel the team to a third-place finish at the inaugural NIRA 7s Championship. His strategic recruitment and scholarship planning at Emory & Henry also brought in a strong class of athletes aligned with institutional goals.
Prior to that, Enright served as the Head Coach of Newberry College Women's Rugby, where he guided the program to its highest winning percentage in team history. His leadership also yielded the third-highest number of National Letters of Intent signed among all NCAA programs in the 2024–25 cycle. Enright's reputation for elevating programs was further solidified by successful head coaching stints with Tampa Krewe Women's Rugby and Berkeley All Blues, where he led teams to historic milestones including undefeated seasons, Super Regional berths, and National Championship weekend appearances. Enright has also stood in head coaching positions with the Austin Valkyries and both men's and women's rugby at Texas State.
Throughout his career, Enright has demonstrated an exceptional ability to blend high-performance coaching with an athlete-centered philosophy. He is highly respected for his expertise in player development, tactical game planning, and recruitment, as well as for fostering positive team cultures rooted in discipline and mutual respect.
Enright holds a B.S. in Psychology from Texas State University and is certified at the World Rugby Level 2 (formerly Level 300), bringing both academic insight and professional accreditation to his new role as Head Coach.
Adrian College is excited to welcome Coach Enright to campus and looks forward to the continued growth and success of its Women's Rugby program under his leadership.
