ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College baseball team remains in the top-25 of the D3baseball.com Poll, coming in at No. 25 as announced on Tuesday. In the ABCA Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs are receiving votes and hold the highest point total among teams outside the top-30.
Adrian currently sits at 13-6 overall and 1-2 in conference play. The Bulldogs dropped three spots from No. 22 in last week's D3baseball.com Poll after posting a 2-2 record. Adrian highlighted the week with an explosive win over Wooster before dropping two of three games to Alma in its MIAA conference-opening series.
Kalamazoo College remains the only other MIAA team ranked in the poll, sitting at No. 12. The Bulldogs are scheduled to face Kalamazoo in a three-game conference series later this month.
Adrian will look to bounce back this week as it hosts Albion College on Thursday, April 2 at 5:00 p.m. at Nicolay Field. The Bulldogs will then begin a conference series against Calvin University on the road Friday at 4:00 p.m., before returning home for a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m.
