The Adrian College equestrian team rode with great focus and clarity in their second semester debut competitions. Despite cold temperatures throughout the week that limited practice time to virtually nil, the Bulldogs were able to stay focused and they came home with the High Point Team title in the morning competition, and put in a strong fight for it in the afternoon.

Individual placings were really good throughout the day from each of the team's athletes. Some highlights:
- Junior, Grace Slusarski qualified for Area 64 Regionals in the Ranch Riding after strong patterns both in the morning and afternoon
- Sophomore, Denae Covey won both of her Level 1 Horsemanship classes for the day, earning 14 points for the team
- Senior and Co-Captain, Corynn Pratto won her Ranch Riding class and took a second-place finish in the Level II Horsemanship class
- Senior and Co-Captain, Christopher Warwick won his Open Horsemanship class, and continues to lead the Regional High Point Rider competition for Area 64

The team will compete in their final competitions of the regular season on February 14-15, at The Held Equestrian Center in Albion, Michigan. Each day's competition will begin at 9am, and graduating seniors will be honored at lunch break in a special recognition ceremony. Guests are encouraged to come cheer on the team.
