CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA. -- The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) announced it's offensive and defensive players of the week on Tuesday afternoon, naming Adrian College freshman,
Rolen Maclin, as the Defensive Player of the Week.
This week's honor is the second for Maclin this season. He was last named MCVL DPOW on January 28.
Maclin, a first-year Libero, registered 29 digs for the Bulldogs last weekend over two thrilling home conference matches and 8 sets of action. The Bulldogs suffered a weekend-opening 3-1 loss to Trine University, but bounced back the next day with a 3-1 victory over Calvin University to wrap their home schedule for the year. Maclin carries a rugged presence on the floor that the Bulldogs have valued all season, as the Kirkwood, Missouri native has played in 75 of 81 sets so far, scooping a total of 194 digs.
The Adrian College men's volleyball squad will conclude its 2025 season on Friday, April 4 at Wabash College at 7:00 PM.
