SPRINGFIELD, Ohio. -- The Adrian College men's volleyball team closed its weekend with a MCVL conference road loss to Wittenberg on Saturday.

The Bulldogs strung together two strong performances on Friday and Saturday, clawing their way to tight finishes, but unfortunately dropped another match on Saturday to the Tigers, losing the contest, 3-0.

Sam Landers led his team on Saturday with 9 kills and 6 digs as the Bulldogs dropped sets 25-16, 25-16, and 25-18, moving their MCVL record to 1-4 on the season.

The Bulldogs will take on Trine and Calvin next weekend for two games at the Merillat Fitness Center on March 28-29. The Bulldogs will host Trine on Friday and Calvin on Saturday for Senior Day.
