ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College men's volleyball team hosted No. 18 Baldwin Wallace at the MSFC on Saturday afternoon, but dropped the contest in straight sets, 3-0.
Adrian welcomed another tough opponent to the court on Saturday, after facing Mount Union the night before. Two games into the MCVL schedule, Adrian has showed strong efforts but have been handed two losses to begin conference play.
The Yellowjackets of Baldwin Wallace showed why they're one of the top teams in the nation, carrying the play for most of the match. The Bulldogs battled hard though, keeping the scores relatively close in all three sets.
Zach Molnar led the Bulldogs with 8 kills, meanwhile,
Andrew Graczyk led the way with 7 digs and 16 assists in the loss. Molnar also carried the highest attack percentage, leading with a .353 rate.
Sam Landers powered two service aces across the court on Saturday to contribute as well.
The Bulldogs will next battle against Hiram College on March 1 on the road.
