ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College NCAA women's hockey team climbed in the national rankings this week, checking in at No. 10 in the USCHO.com Poll and No. 9 in the DIIIHockeyNews Poll. The Bulldogs sit at 4-2-0 on the season after picking up a two-game sweep over Aurora University.
Adrian opened the weekend with a 4-0 shutout on Friday before rolling to a 7-1 victory on Saturday. The lone goal allowed in Saturday's win marked the first goal surrendered in conference play this season.
Fellow NCHA member St. Norbert fell in both national polls, landing at No. 8 in the DIIIHockeyNews rankings and No. 8 in the USCHO poll.
The Bulldogs return to action this weekend with a road trip to Lawrence University for a two-game NCHA series. Game one is scheduled for Friday, November 21 at 3:00 PM ET.
