GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Adrian College women's soccer team loses to Calvin University on Tuesday night, 6-1.
In the first half, the Bulldogs started off slow with only one shot on goal the entire half while Calvin totaled 14 shots. Calvin got out to an early lead with a goal at the 29-minute mark. The Knights ended up scoring two more goals to make the halftime score, 3-0.
In the second half, Adrian continued to struggle as they once again only had one shot on goal while Calvin had 17 shots. Two early second half goals from the Knights made the score, 5-0. At the 78
th minute mark Adrian scored a goal by
Kassidy Seaton. Calvin scored for the final time at the 89
th minute mark to make the final score, 6-1.
Defensively,
Gabrielle Fallon Revels and
Katelyn Stanton split time in goal. Revels totaled five saves while Stanton added one.
The Bulldogs will face Albion College on Wednesday, October 18 at 7:00 PM inside Docking Stadium.
