ANGOLA, Ind. - At Hershey Hall, the Adrian acrobatics and tumbling team improved its overall score by 11.195 points in just four days en route to a 238.870-220.230 victory over the homestanding Thunder.

All told, the Bulldogs (1-1) bettered their scores from Sunday's season-opener in four different events, including a double-digit increase in the Team Event.

The black and gold took the early lead thanks to a one-point advantage in the Compulsory segment of the competition, in which the visitors won three of the four heats.

They followed that up with a three-heat sweep in the Acro event, followed a 27.50 to 21.10 scoreline in the Pyramid portion of the evening.

Leading by nearly four points at halftime, the 'Dogs came out and took two of three Toss heats before narrowly besting the hosts in Tumbling, 43.65 to 43.05.

The biggest difference of the night came in the final event of the contest, the Team Event. The black and gold brought the Thunder to their Indiana-rival, coming up just shy of the 90-point threshold with a final Team Event score of 87.47.

Adrian and Trine are set to meet again in the season-finale on April 2 at the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center, but next week, the Bulldogs will continue their season in Pennsylvania against East Stroudsburg. Meet time against the Warriors is slated for 6 p.m.
