HOW IT HAPPENED, Game 1
= Adrian loaded the bases with one out in the bottom of the eighth inning as Resto was hit by a pitch, Mikowski was intentionally walked after sophomore pinch-runner Jason Croci advanced to second base on a failed pickoff attempt and senior Brian Killinger walked. After a pitching change, Dorow hit into a fielder's choice to shortstop but the Dutchmen couldn't turn the inning-ending double play, driving in Croci with the walk-off run.
= Trailing 5-1 in the top of the sixth, Hope was able to force extra inning by putting across four runs on just one hit, two hitbatsmen and taking advantage of a throwing error that led to two of the runs being unearned. Danny Carras had a RBI-single through the right side to start the rally and Drew Lunsford capped it with a RBI groundout to second base.
= After Batts gave the Flying Dutchmen a 1-0 lead on an infield single in the top of the first, Adrian responded with a run in the second and two each in the third and fourth to go up 4-1. The Bulldogs first three tallies came via a bases loaded walk. In the fourth, Dorow had a RBI-triple to the left-center field wall and sophomore Dugan Darnell followed with a sacrifice fly to right to bring home Dorow.
HOW IT HAPPENED, Game 2
= Michael Barnett snapped a 2-2 tie on a sacrifice fly to center field in the sixth inning. Landon Brower and Batts hit back-to-back singles to start it. Brower went to third on the hit by Batts, who was trying to stretch it into a double but was tagged out. Brower scored on Barnett's flyball.
= Things started well enough for the Bulldogs who built a 2-0 lead on a RBI by Dorow in the first and junior Brian Guck's RBI-groundout in the third.
