ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's hockey team were crowned the NCHA Slaats Cup Champions after a 2-0 victory over St. Norbert in the final round of the playoff on Sunday afternoon at Arrington Ice Arena.

FIRST TWO PERIODS: SCORELESS

• Both teams were held scoreless through the first two periods of play
• The Bulldogs outshot the Green Knights in both periods for a total of 24-17 (8-11 first period, 13-9 second period)
• Adrian went 0-for-2 on power plays, St. Norbert went 0-for-1

FINAL STANZA: BULLDOGS SCORE TWO GOALS

• Shelly Czarnowczan put the first point on the board for Adrian, scoring in the first ten minutes of the period off an assist from Brooke Lupi
• Kaylyn Schroka would score an empty net goal with 1:30 left to play that sealed the win for Adrian
