Box Score DE PERE, Wis. – The Bulldogs scored three power play goals to slip passed the Green Knights 3-2 in De Pere, Wisconsin. Kaylyn Schroka scored two of Adrian's goals including the game winner in the overtime period.
Emily Chandler put the puck in the net on a power play to give St. Norbert the early 1-0 lead with less than four minutes remaining in the first period. The score would remain 1-0 going into the first intermission.
The Bulldogs would get on the scoreboard in the early in the second period when Kristin Lewicki scored on a power play to tie the game at one goal apiece. She was assisted by Sarah Shureb and Michelle Jones.
Schroka would score the first of her two goals less than three minutes later on another power play to give Adrian its first lead of the game, 2-1.
St. Norbert's Kylie Gazzolo would score the game-tying goal off the assist from Chandler to force overtime.
Schroka scored the game-winning goal 3:51 into the overtime period off the assist from Sydney Smith and Kristi Zink to give the Bulldogs the victory, their fifteenth straight.
St. Norbert outshot Adrian 27-22. Adrian went 3-of-8 (.375) on power play opportunities; St. Norbert went 1-of-4 (.250).
Adrian will host NCHA opponent St. Scholastica for a two game series at Arrington Ice Arena next Friday and Saturday, February 5 and 6. The first game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., and the second for 3:00 p.m.
